Retrieval Day!!!!!

It’s retrieval day!!

 I woke up at like 5 am. I must be anxious or something.  I can’t wait to find out how many mature follicles we get and then how many fertilize. There are so many steps, and I’m praying they all go right.  Lord,  please help us get many mature eggs that all fertilize and turn into beautiful,  healthy,  perfect, high-grade blasts!! 🙏

Man, when I woke up from retrieval, I was in excruciating pain. Luckily the pain had dulled down from a 9 to a 2 by the time I left. I start progesterone pills and vaginal gel along with some other meds. As long as all goes well, we will transfer on Thursday afternoon.

Tomorrow I will find out how many of the 8 follicles were mature and fertilized. I am incredibly nervous. Eight is not a lot to start out with. If it’s not one thing to stress about, it’s another. I hope and pray we have mature eggs and great fertilization rates. I need them to get to 3 day and 5 day.

Depending on what I find out tomorrow, we’ll either do a single or two embryo transfer.
