Day 4 Stims: MEH
Saturday, February 13
It’s day 4 of stims. So far, so good. I have a tiny bit of cramping on and off. But it’s not terrible. I also feel just a bit bloated, but I’ve lost a few pounds since I’ve started this journey. I think it’s because I have some slight food aversions, and I have to like force myself to eat. I just don’t feel that hungry. And when I do eat, it’s healthy and clean meals in decent healthy portions. I’ve been mainly following the Mediterranean diet, so I’ve been eating chicken, shrimp, salmon, quinoa, lots of green leafy vegetables, roasted chickpeas, tomatoes, and avocado.
The injections have been pretty easy. I figured today would just be even more comfortable since I’ve pretty much gotten used to it. I was a little bit nervous, though, since I was adding Ovidrel today, which was new for me. Everything went well, except both injections actually kind of hurt. I felt the needle go in both times, and the medicines burned and stung quite a bit. There was a little bit of bleeding and bruising, so I had to ice the area afterward. I was not expecting that at all! Now I am nervous about continuing injections lol.
I’m still battling extreme fatigue and headaches. Overall, the headaches aren’t that bad now, and the least of my complaints. I’m a little gassy, and my brain is foggy. Fun times!
